There Richard Warren was recorded among the first to disembarq and met hostile natives.  Soon the Mayflower found safe anchor at what was to become Plymouth Colony.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;John Stith, a lawyer arrived in Virginia about 1640 well after the Virginia Plantation had been established.  He became prominent and soon held both government office and Rank in the Militia.  His land was located in Charles City County, Virginia.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Machiel Mesger arrived at Long Island, New Amsterdam in 1647 aboard the Princess Amelia from Holland.  Machiel emigrated from Germany to Holland where he found passage.  Machiel was perhaps employed at farming and/or lumberman. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Rowland Powell arrived in Gloucester, Massachusetts about 1650.  Where he disembarqed is uncertain as well as the vessel he arrived on.  Rowland farmed and later moved to Lebanon, Connecticut.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Joshua Hoopes arrived at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania October 1683 aboard The Providence from England.
